How much do custom wedding invitations cost?

Pricing varies based on a number of factors, including degree of customization, design elements, material selection, and quantity of pieces. {All stationery pieces are custom priced.}

As a general baseline, an order for 100 custom wedding invitation suites can range from $800 (as shown above) to $4,000 and beyond, with the average wedding client spending $1,000-$1,200.

Do you have samples I can see?

Yes! If we are able to schedule an in-person meeting we will look through a compilation of stationery pieces featuring a variety of paper colors, textures, design elements and print methods. Experiencing the tactile nature of these elements helps inspire the overall vision. While I rarely create two invitations that are alike, clients will often get inspired by a design element, paper combination or feeling that they get from one of my past creations. From that point we use that inspiration to create something that gives you that same feeling and make it all yours.

How long does it take to design and print custom invitations?

There are many variables when it comes to the turn-around-time for custom design invitations. Exploring the paper combinations, graphics and print methods to create your one-of-a-kind invitations takes time and space for the creative juices to flow. A typical wedding invitation will take approximately 3-5 weeks to complete, while others may take up to 12 weeks. The bottom line is the earlier you start the better, but we can usually accommodate a tight time-frame.

How many extra invitations should I order?

In most cases I recommend ordering an additional 10-15%. Extra invitations are good to have on hand so you can quickly send an invitation for those last minute additions or in the unfortunate case of an invitation getting lost in the mail.

Do you offer envelope addressing?

Yes! You can add envelope addressing to any order. I will design the envelope using the same style and font as the rest of your invitation suite. Download the Spreadsheet Template to the right as well as the the Spreadsheet Guide or Wedding Spreadsheet Guide for specific etiquette and formatting instructions.

Can you mail my invitations for me?

Yes! If you wish to have me mail your invitations, I will guarantee that every address on the spreadsheet is delivered to the post office at which point, responsibility for delivery is in the hands of the USPS.

WHAT IS “DAY OF” STATIONERY?

Day of stationery includes all of the stationery pieces that carry your guests through the wedding day.

  • Programs

  • Seating Cards or Seating Chart

  • Place Cards

  • Table Numbers

  • Menus

  • Favor Tags

  • Bar Menus

How much time do you need for my day of stationery?

I like to start working on day of stationery after the invitations are completed and in the mail, about 8 weeks before the wedding. This allows time to discuss the budget for the day of items and design accordingly. Many items can be printed weeks in advance, however, with many weddings there are often last minute changes to which guests will be coming. When possible, I like to print the day of stationery the week before the wedding to leave room to accommodate those last minute changes.
