The flexible design process includes these basic steps:

Step 1
Collaboration

The process of creating an invitation suite begins with getting to know you. This crucial, first step involves an information gathering questionnaire, followed by an in-person (or FaceTime) meeting where you will browse through a wide variety of high-quality paper swatches, specialty ribbons, unique paper enclosures and decorative embellishments. Experiencing the tactile nature of these elements helps inspire the overall design. The options are limitless, but together we narrow down your preferences into a cohesive pallet.

Step 2
Concept & Estimate Proposal

Within a week of the meeting, I will propose a design concept and cost estimate for you to review. This will include a description of the papers and other details that will be used in the invitation suite. You can approve the estimate, sign the contract and pay a 50% deposit.

Step 3
Initial Design/Digital Prototype

Depending on the complexity of the design you can expect a digital proof within 1-3 weeks. During this time I may send a few emails to get your opinion on various design elements to make sure I’m truly capturing your vision. We will revise and modify until the layout and copy are just right, then I will send you a final proof.

Step 4
Final Proof & Quantity Confirmation

The final proof gives us one last chance to review any details that may have been overlooked during the design process (spelling, dates, addresses, etc.), and confirm the final quantity.

Step 5
Production

Upon your approval, the printing and production takes place. You can expect your invitations to be ready within 1-3 weeks. The overall journey from vision to reality is an absolute joy, and holding the finished pieces in your hands is icing on the cake!
